How much do you charge?
Wedding day coverage starts at $2,500. If you’d like a complete price list, please email me with your wedding date and any pertinent details.
- Is Buffy your real name?
It’s my middle name, and the only name anyone has ever called me (and it suits me!)
- Where do you live, and do you travel?
I live in Edmonton, Alberta, but I travel frequently. I’ve photographed weddings in New York, Portland, Newfoundland, Mexico, and a few places in between. If your wedding is on Saturday, I would typically arrive Thursday (2 days ahead of time), attend your rehearsal on Friday, photograph the wedding on Saturday, and leave on Sunday.
- What cameras do you use?
I use Nikon. But that doesn’t really matter because we all know that it’s the photographer that makes the pretty pictures, not the camera!
Why do you focus on weddings?
Wedding days are great - they’re filled with joy and emotion. I like people, and I love “love”! Having fun with awesome people with a camera in my hand sounds like the best job ever (and it is)!
- How many weddings have you photographed?
Over 300! Woo!
- Do you really skate roller derby?
I sure do! My name on the track is Urethra Franklin. (yes, I think I’m funny.)

The Ukrainian Catholic church was an incredible setting for the ceremony.
It was far from pleasant outside, so we headed over to the reception hall early to take a few photos.
There was this really awesome gold checkered curtain on the stage at the hall. I absolutely love these photos!
This wedding party was so much fun! Everyone let their personalities shine .
The traditional Ukrainian kolomeyka dance was a definate highlight of the night.
