Iceland in April

I love you, Iceland.

A US Army DC3 plan crashed in the 1950′s on a deserted beach near Solheimsandur, Iceland. It’s still there, a skeleton on the black sand beach, in the middle of nowhere.

These stacks of rock in the ocean near Vik are called Reynisdrangar.

A dog on the beach, trying to catch one of the birds that nest in the cliffs.

This surreal place is called Jokulsarlon. It’s a glacial lagoon filled with thousands of icebergs.

I like horses.

Horses like me too.

I know the secret to making a pony smile. I’ll tell you if you buy me a plane ticket to Reykjavik.

More to come.

See other photos of Iceland here and here.
