There are so many photos from Tim and Leyla’s gorgeous mountain wedding that I’m gonna post ‘em in shifts!

I don’t regularly photograph the rehearsal dinner, but theirs’ was extra cool, and I’m glad they asked me to be there!

Tim and Leyla’s closest friends and family had cocktails and socialized on the first green at the Stewart Creek Golf Course, near Canmore, before dinner. There was an impromptu driving contest, followed by a putting contest.

Leyla really wanted to win! Shoes off!

Her reaction to her shot above, her future hubby’s below! Awesome!

Hole in one?!!? Hmmm…that will remain a mystery!

Next awesome installment coming soon!

Just got back from an unbelievably amazing and relaxing vacation (photos forthcoming!)

In the meantime, OneWed’s Savvy Scoop blog featured 2 more of my 2009 weddings: Sunil and Shobna‘s amazing Hindu wedding, and Justin and Cheryl’s ultra-unique Newfoundland destination wedding. Both of these weddings were high points in 2009 – having other industry professionals appreciate them as well, enough to feature them on their blog, makes me feel really happy and fulfilled. Thanks, OneWed!

And I feel super lucky that I get to work with such cool and creative brides and grooms who plan these amazing weddings!

I’m in San Francisco for the weekend, having a blast, and was honored to help out the incredible and talented Anna Kuperberg at Stephanie and Jim’s wedding at The Ferry Building. It was an absolutely exquisite day – every detail was impeccable, and it was great to see someone like Anna, whose work I find so fun and inspiring, do her magic!

I don’t go home until tomorrow, but I already miss San Fran!

Dean and Lindsay

October 9, 2009

Dean and Lindsay’s gorgeous wedding was on their farm near Westlock! A couple of photos with the ladies getting ready:

Wardrobe malfunction?!

The whole gang -  love the vibrant contrast of the yellow and the purple!

And I sure hope y’all are ready for oodles of adorable kid photos!!

The ceremony was held right in their front yard.

One of the bridesmaid’s sons – he looked up at his mom as she came down the aisle, and said “Mommy, you look beautiful!!” SO SO CUTE!

Dean planted these sunflowers in the field by their house specifically for the wedding, for photos and centerpieces. Amazing!

And of course, what kind of farmer would Dean be if we didn’t get some photos with tractors?!

An amazing day! Thanks so much to Dean and Lindsay and all their awesome friends and family!
