Here are a few photos from Kerri and Jared’s engagement session a couple of weeks ago (before we were re-wintered.)

We really haven’t gotten over how awesome our roof balcony is yet!

After a few photos up there, we headed downtown and found some awesome places to take photos. When we updated our main site a couple of weeks ago, I included a couple other photos from this shoot in our engagement gallery. This wall is outside of Urge Tattoos on Jasper Ave.

We were driving around, and Dallas spotted this cool steam coming out of this chute by this old loading dock. I love it!

We’re one of the winners in the 2008 PDN Top Knots Contest!

Dallas and I have talked about how amazing it would be to be featured somehow in PDN (our favorite photo magazine) for literally years, in this dreamy sort of way, with a lot of “like that would ever happen!” inner dialogue on both our parts. We finally got brave enough to enter a few photos this year, and I was in total shock when they phoned to tell us they’d be publishing one of our photos. I didn’t actually believe it until this morning when I saw the website with my own eyes. The April 2008 issue will be hitting newsstands in Canada shortly, so take a look if you see it in your favorite bookstore!

The gorgeous bride in this photo is Amanda – if you’d like, take a peek at their their wedding slideshow. It was an amazing day, and I want to thank Scotty and Amanda and their families once again for being so great to work with – everyone was so cooperative and fun and easygoing, which enabled Dallas and I to do our best work possible. Thanks a million!

Other good news, which ties into the real purpose of this entry – showing you some photos we’ve taken recently. Dallas and I have a cool new office/meeting space. What makes it so awesome, you ask?

THE ROOF!

Joann and Paul met with us last week for some engagement photos, which we took on our rooftop patio. You can see everything from up here – we’re on the west end of downtown near Oliver Square, and not only does it give us an amazing downtown view, we can see past WEM to the very farthest edge of the city!

I like this last one best – it’s so cute!

Plus, we’ve updated our site a little bit to add more photos from this last year – we were long overdue in terms of updating things, and this is definitely not final – we are planning a big, splashy redesign sometime this spring at which point there will be lots more new photos up.
