Baby Dahlia!

May 29, 2008

Remember the photos we took in December of the gorgeous mom-to-be Debbie? Well, we got to meet the new addition, Dahlia, last week!

I think she looks extra clever in this photo! She’s 3 months old (the perfect age for baby photos!) and has a super adorable, expressive face!

This bonnet is so funny!

Dahlia and one of her animal friends! Debbie used to work at the Humane Society, and so there’s lots of playmates for Dahlia!

Dallas took some engagement photos for Dominique and Dustin a couple of weekends ago at Louise McKinney Park – down the hill from the Shaw Conference Center. The city recently renovated the park, and it’s super pretty – we look forward to taking photos there this summer!

I totally love these next two!

A few photos from some musicians we’ve photographed over the last two months!

Our good friend Martine from Montreal was in Edmonton last month on tour – she has an amazing voice and makes touching music that almost makes me cry every time I see her play. Her band is The Camaromance and she’s a brilliant songwriter – you can check her music out here on this fancy player:

And here are a couple of photos Dallas took for her in our office.

(It’s hard to see at this size, but if you look closely, the calculator says “hello.”)

And yesterday, I took photos of an awesome local band, Blind Tiger, Tiger (That link will send you to a MySpace page, where you can hear their awesome music.)

I loved that they rented “Spy Kids 3D” just so they could get the glasses for the shoot!

Andrea and Nick

Here are some photos from Andrea and Nick’s wedding at Fort Edmonton Park.

One of the most awesome things about our job is that we get to see a lot of really different, cool weddings. Nick and Andrea had a small celebration with friends – untraditional and fun (which is kinda our style). They even had a Facebook group for their wedding entitled “Shotgun Wedding” since they planned everything in a matter of weeks!

We LOVE Fort Edmonton Park!

Andrea’s parents were also married in St. Michaels, before it was moved to Ft. Edmonton Park.

The party then moved to Nick and Andrea’s new house. It’s probably a good thing the neighbours weren’t home!
