I spent the afternoon on father’s day at the park with my friends’ Kris and Suzuanne’s awesome 2 year old Oscar!

The park had this really cool climbing rock, and Oscar had his toy sword, which made for some really funny “Sword in the stone” style photos!

Here are some photos from Chris and Dominique’s engagement photo session a few weeks ago.

This next one is ultra cute!

A gorgeous spring day, right? We thought so! But just a few minutes later, it clouded over rather dramatically…

… and, of course, it started to rain! Luckily, I had my fun new umbrella in the car (it says “Pitter Patter” in cool blue script all over the inside – I love it!) Dallas was running around trying to light the rain so we could see the individual drops more clearly (the sky goes white when it rains so you need to create contrast), and I was trying to keep the camera more or less dry. The whole time, there were two guys standing in a nearby gazebo laughing at us. But, hey, it worked out! Woo!

Rain’s good luck on your wedding day! I think that goes for engagement photo sessions too!

Marshall, Jamie and I have been jokingly calling this their “enGAYgement shoot.”

This wall is by the old “Italy in the Alley” restaurant downtown – they’re opening a club there and painting over the crazy rainbow mural, which is sad. This is such a awesome spot of colour down a otherwise dingy alleyway.
