Raman came to the legislature grounds a couple of weeks ago, expecting that we were about to do a little photoshoot with just the girls for her friend’s wedding… and instead, she got a giant surprise as you’ll soon see!

Here’s a photo of Raman and her friends, waiting around to begin the photoshoot because one of their other girlfriends is having a bit of trouble finding parking (haha!)

The last thing Raman expected was for her boyfriend Raja to appear with a ring and propose!

Raja flew in from Vancouver, making it an even bigger surprise for Raman! Everyone was, of course, in on Raja’s plan!

Everyone left and I did an engagement photo session with the totally thrilled couple.

It was so awesome to share that special moment with you both – thanks so much!

The biggest post we’ve ever made from Joti and Shawn’s beautiful multi-day wedding. I’m about to post 80 photos, that’s right !!80!! which seems like a lot, but in all honesty, I could post more!

The Sangeet was Thursday’s celebration, and occured at both the bride and the groom’s respective houses.

Sikh weddings are so colorful and beautiful, full of incredible music and dancing.

Thank you to both Joti and Shawn, and both of their awesome families, for an amazing time!

Amber

July 8, 2008

We’ve been busy! Not only are we now well into wedding season, this week we’re busily working on TONS of photos from Joti and Shawn’s 6 day long wedding celebration, which we’ll really have to post in installments – there are so many cool photos we’d like to share!

Seriously, though, we’re having so much fun with our couples this year, and we’ve got lots of photos forthcoming, so make sure you keep this blog bookmarked!

Today, something different. A few photos from a totally fun shoot we did a couple of weeks ago for Amber, who’s building her commercial modeling portfolio. The first two photos are taken on our rooftop balcony, which those of you who have either visited us, or have been reading this blog for awhile are familiar with!

It’s kinda windy up here, as you can tell by Amber’s hair and dress.

Amber is not only totally beautiful, she was so comfortable in front of the camera and a blast to work with!

A few of my favorite photos from Kristin and Chad’s wedding.

I don’t think the dog liked his dress!

We decided to get some fun photos downtown, and since it was the Pride Week parade, there was a lot of action in Churchill Square! Kristin and Chad got called onto the Main Stage betweeen acts in the Drag show and everything! Here’s one photo I especially like:

Kristin and Chad

It was a bit chaotic, but so worth it to do something so fun and different for photos!

Check out the slideshow for more dogs in dresses, a few tears, and an excellent Tina Turner impersonation – could you possibly ask for more?!?!

If you’d like to link directly to the slideshow, it’s here.

Thanks, Kristin and Chad – we had so much fun at your wedding!
