Can’t wait to meet the little one!

A photo of Debbie and her adorable little girl Dahlia – I did maternity photos with Debbie when she was pregnant with this little monkey (you may recognize them from my website), and now Dahlia’s gonna have a little bro in October! Whee!

Some photos from Dorota and Danny’s wedding – we had a whole lotta fun with these two! Here are a few favorites!

I loved Dorota’s shoes.

We were taking some photos in the park right beside their church when we heard the ice cream man’s music! Everyone went a little bonkers with excitement, and we flagged him down. Thanks, Mr Ice Cream Man, for driving all the way across the elementary school lawn to get to us, and being such a good sport about us taking silly photos with your ice cram truck! I never got his name but I hope somehow he stumbles across these online, if this is your neighborhood ice cream guy, tip him next time you’ve got a hankering for a popsicle because he’s awesome!

And then we headed to the awesome medieval fair by Whyte Ave! I had no idea this event was happening until the morning of the wedding, when I saw the tents getting set up, and went over and asked what they were for. Danny and Dorota were such troopers about having a bunch of random spectators watching them posing for these photos, and for making such great use of the props! And the organizers were so nice – they cleared the main fighting ring for us, and were so good about us interrupting their events.

Storm’s a brewin’! We were actually really lucky in terms of weather – it got downright gloomy, and sprinkled a bit (meaning we took a few photos under umbrellas)… then as soon as we were done at this park, and safely in our vehicles, it POURED!

And as soon as we got to the reception, it had cleared – gorgeous blue skies, and a good chance for a few more photos! Hooray!
