Snow???!

May 30, 2010

I call this series “My poor trees!”

I rushed outside to take these yesterday because I knew that when I woke up today, the blossomed-covered branches of my pretty lilac trees would probably be broken under the weight of the heavy wet snow. And I was right. So sad. But it sure was pretty for a few hours!

First wedding of the summer with Helen and Johnny – it was an awesome day! Here’s some of my favorite photos!

Crowd surfing! Super fun!
Love this next one (by my second shooter Marshall):

Helen and Johnny folded 1000 paper cranes together for their wedding, as centerpieces and name cards! A cool idea, and a great exercise in patience and co-operation – 2 very important ingredients in a successful marriage!
Helen had to touch a whole lotta men’s legs to find John’s! Apparently, it’s diificult to identify people by their calves!

Sweet little Baby Evan’s photographic introduction to the world!

I’m excited about so many of the photos from John and Helen’s wedding yesterday, but this one is a favorite.

I really love photos of in-between moments. Here, Helen was adjusting her veil as we were getting ready for some more “traditional” photos, where she was looking at the camera. I think she looks beautiful, serene, and graceful here.
