Edmonton Backyard wedding inspiration

I adore intimate, family weddings! There’s something that feels beyond special when you gather a small group of chosen family and besties, especially as you exchange heartfelt vows in a meaningful, beautiful spot.

I love these little weddings even more when they occur on the most beautiful autumn afternoons, all sunshine and falling leaves, especially when the couple is as rad and cute as Michelle and Lee!

Michelle and Lee held their wedding ceremony at Molstad Historical House in Edmonton, which is like stepping into a time warp. This old house is full of amazing antiques, cool light and great vibes, on a quiet street near the river valley. After the ceremony, Michelle and Lee drank champs straight from the bottle like badasses, then wandered around the property ooohing and ahhing at how gorgeous this home is. Then, we hit up some fave river valley spots for a couple of photos with Edmonton’s downtown skyline, the golden goodness of fall showering leaves onto us like a blessing.

After that was done, we hung out and grabbed a quick beer, obvi.

This day was unstuffy, these two were glowing and as you can see from these photos, this was basically a perfect wedding day. I’m so thrilled I got to hang out with these fun folks and witness their pretty little wedding ceremony!
